Joining an company operated by someone else or starting another company to transfer money to your own company is unacceptable behaviour, unless the originally owning player made it clear that he or she is leaving the game, has no intentions to return and offers themself or their resources to anyone else who wants them. Another way of sabotage is parking road vehicles in roads that are being used by other companies for the sole purpose of blocking their vehicles.ĭon't cheat to advance yourself within the game. Aside from being unpleasant it will damage your own ratings if you have stations nearby. In OpenTTD this amounts to deliberately building level crossings where your opponents are running road vehicles and attempting to destroy them with trains. Also massive land buying is not wanted.īuying exclusive transport rights in an town in which you do not have any stakes also counts as blocking access to industries and is also frowned upon.ĭon't deliberately sabotage your opponents vehicles. If they have built it in such a way that this is not possible, and changing it would not be unreasonably expensive, you can politely request that they make a modification. If you find another player is building where you wanted to create tracks or roads of your own do not try to hinder their build progress, but build around, over or under it. Rules (mainly lifted from the OpenTTD wiki):ĭon't intentionally block access to industries, large areas of the map or areas that another player is building in. So the first 15 companies/OCAU users to post in this thread get to play, and other players can apply to join those companies. We can have up to 255 players, but only 15 companies (game restriction, not server restriction).

I will hopefully be adding it in this week.Įrato has kindly finished off the E353, which will add to Bamito's 651 Series that has also been coded (which means the next version will have 2 new Joban Line trains). The E531 series has been completed by Bamito-303, but is not yet in-game. The 207-900 series has also been added! The 205 series is waiting for a re-code and more liveries - so it might not make it for the next version. The KiHa 80 has made an appearence, along with the 485 series. There are new sprites for the 205 series and the 201 series has been completed with all liveries it has worn (excluding specials), thanks to ChuoSpecialRapid201.

Completing the code for exisiting trains (a list can be found in the first post, this will be the main aim for the next release) This can lead to warnings and unstable savegames. Please enjoy the taster for what is to come over this festive period - and look forward to more in 2020!įinally, the trains you see in the preview are not cost balanced - and the costs are subject to change in future non-preview release versions. Therefore, I've cut out the complex trains that still need some refinement and released for you all to play with a "Christmas 2020 Preview". That said - it's Christmas and it has been a long year and we have teased everyone more than enough over the years. Wouldn't be right if you built a 2-car 209 Series EMU and there wasn't a pantograph until it was a 3-car unit now, would it? It's been a long year for everyone, but perhaps a good year to work on NewGRFs! - We've been working hard to get this perfect and some trains are going under graphics review or having pantographs added so they'll work whatever the consist length.I hope you can all understand that we would like to release each train in as best a finished state as possible.
